Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle, from patient registration to claims processing and payment collection. Graduates of this program will be prepared for entry-level positions as Medical Billing and Coding Specialists, Revenue cycle analysts, Patient accounts representatives, and Healthcare financial coordinators in areas such as hospitals, clinics, insurance agencies, billing enterprises, and physician offices.

The curriculum emphasizes the importance of accuracy and compliance in billing practices, as well as the financial implications of healthcare delivery. Students will also be prepared to sit for industry-recognized certification examinations, such as the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Professional Biller (CPB), enhancing their employability and career advancement opportunities. The program curriculum includes a combination of synchronous and asynchronous learning modalities, followed by clinical learning experiences in a variety of healthcare settings.
