Graduates of our fully accredited programs will be well-prepared to pass their state licensure exams or start in an entry level position in their chosen specialty.

Wide Range of Allied Health Education Programs

Graduates of THS go out into the field of healthcare equipped to meet the challenges of evolving medical science, complex patient needs, advancements in technology, and so much more. Our  alumni are successful health professionals in nursing practice, medical education, and nursing research. We continually see and hear of them making significant contributions to health care in the communities they serve, both within the country and internationally.

Here are the key highlights of programs offered at Texas Health School:

Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN)

Nurse Classroom

Learn all the skills you need to become an LVN in as little as 11 months. The Licensed Vocational Nursing Program utilizes classroom learning and clinical training to provide comprehensive knowledge for healthcare settings.

Our program provides hands-on training and emphasizes the development of positive nurse-patient relationships as a strategy to create highly trained and compassionate LVNs. Vocational Nursing courses can be taken during the day or in the evening.

LVN to ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing)

Take your nursing career to the next level. Our LVN-to-ADN Program is for established LVNs who wish to pursue advancement in the nursing profession. Graduates of this 16-month program will receive an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing.

THS is preparing to proudly accept our first cohort in April 2023. This will be our first program that features a hybrid curriculum. General education courses will be taken online, while advanced nursing courses will be in a face-to-face classroom environment.

Massage Therapy

Gain an understanding of the human body and learn the latest in Swedish massage, body modalities, and therapeutic treatments. Our 8-month massage therapy program covers the clinical and administrative skills required to become a licensed massage therapist.

Our curriculum provides students with an understanding of human muscular systems and corresponding therapeutic techniques. Graduates will be prepared for employment in private practice or working in medical settings. Courses can be taken during the day or in the evening.

Medication Aide

Start your career as a Medication Aide in as little as 9 weeks. This program is ideal for individuals who are looking to make a strong start in the field of healthcare or want to earn patient-care experience for further pursuits.

Medication aides are specialized direct care staff who are responsible for the storage, management, and administration of medications to medical patients and residents in long term facilities. Courses can be taken during the day or in the evening.

Medical Assistant

Become an integral member of a medical team by becoming a Medical Assistant. Medical assistants are proficient in administrative tasks and clinical skills that are essential for the smooth daily operations of medical offices, hospital departments, and health-care clinics.

Our Medical Assistant curriculum features blended class delivery, with a combination of traditional classes, clinical training, and professional development. Students enrolled in our Medical Assistant Program can complete the course in 8 months. We offer courses for both daytime and evening students.

Nurse Aide

Be a trained helping hand to those in need. Nurse Aides assist patients with disabilities, memory loss, and other health conditions. This program is ideal for individuals who wish to pursue an entry-level career in healthcare. It is a comprehensive foundation to build on for health professionals eager to train in specific nursing specialties in the future.

Our Nurse Aide program prepares students to provide basic care to homebound patients and residents in hospitals, nursing homes, and other long-term care facilities. Courses can be taken during the day, at night, or on weekends.
